I gave these books a 4 star because they are interesting and believable. However, the books are not a series, they are simply one book broken up and sold as a series. Book 2 starts exactly when Book 1 ended. I probably would not have noticed except I read them back to back. There is no review for those who did not or forgot the particulars of Book 1. I really resent this as it is basically dishonest. I have to assume the author can gain more money selling one book in segments than putting the entire book on the market as a whole. I, unfortunately, will buy the next installment to see the book to to the end, but I will not buy any more books from this author because he will most likely do this again.Product details

When an author only has 76 pages--a premium is placed on crisp writing --it isn't an easy task and there a few writers who have the required skill set. Couple this with the addition of a fair amount of science and the read stalls at points. The storyline is interesting and the science is good. Even considering that this is offered in an "Episode" format, I don't see a complete story in a couple episodes (which is fine--except that the overall cost to the reader will far exceed the average price of a novel). This author has talent and I expect the writing will sharpen as the series continues.
Not "high adventure" -- a little boring.
A great read , Its such a real life scenario that pulls you into the story.

Much better that the first book. Now we can follow the story. It still has too much scientific info that detracts from the story line.
The reason I bought episode 2 was I expected a sequel to episode 1, NOT. Most of this book is cut directly from book 1 Total ripoff. returned this 'sequel' immediately for a refund.
More development in characters and plot over the first installment of the Contact series. The plot is standard SciFi but holds your interest with believable tech. Warning though that this is not a full fledged novel, just a chapter of the whole story.
Your writing is decent..nothing original or thought provoking or even unexpected..also not sure why you call it an episode when its clearly just a slightly long chapter might as well throw them all together in one book and call this chapter 2.. kinda annoyed that I am dumb enough to continue and download all 3, we will see what happens in chapter..I mean "episode" 3 ..so far I am glad it was not a financial purchase but it has gotten me through a Dr's appointment
